Digital Minute: Please Read!
- Students with personal wireless communication devices are not to be “activated, used, displayed or visible during the instructional day” according to ACS Board Policy Code 4318.
- There is an excessive number of broken screens. Students must transport the laptops in the bags that we have provided. A broken screen fee is $95.
- Everyday students must completely SHUTDOWN when they leave school. They must also TURN ON their computers (reboot) every morning when they arrive at school. This will solve many problems.
- When students turn in their laptops at the end of the school year, they must turn in the charger and bag that is already marked with the laptop serial number. All components must have matching serial numbers or fees for lost items will be charged.
- The numbers must not be changed or marked out. A strap should also be attached (unless noted on the student contract that none was given); a missing strap will cost $15.
- If the charger and bag do not belong to the laptop, the student will be charged for the missing or incorrect charger ($55) or bag ($30).
- Students should take their laptops to the help desk if there are issues. Please do not wait until collection day.
- In order for a laptop to be serviced, the student MUST bring the laptop, bag, and matching charger to the help desk.
- Students should take very good care of their laptops. They will be receiving the same laptop next year.
